Erwann Couesbot

Co-Founder & CEO

Erwann Couesbot is the Co-Founder and CEO of FlipThrough, an agentic platform designed to streamline procurement processes, including automated vendor agreement analysis, vendor evaluation, and negotiation.

Before launching FlipThrough, Erwann served as Strategic Sourcing and Commercial Advisory Practice Manager at UpperEdge. In this role, he advised C-level procurement and IT executives at Fortune 500 companies as well as federal agencies, guiding them through critical software and IT transformation initiatives.

Earlier in his career, Erwann was Managing Director at KRK Capital Partners, an investment banking and corporate advisory firm specializing in M&A advisory for middle-market energy and clean technology companies.

With a track record of leadership in technology, procurement, and corporate strategy, Erwann brings deep expertise to the intersection of AI and business innovation in the procurement field.

Matthew Michaud

Co-Founder & CPO

Full stack engineer with over 15 years of experience building generative AI, web3, AR, VR and mobile platforms. Before building FlipThrough, Matthew was the Director of Engineering at Endstate, where he led an engineering team building Web3-connected physical items using blockchain technology. He was responsible for all aspects of the technical stack, including e-commerce, Web3, NFC chip technology, and infrastructure. Previously, Matt was a full stack software engineer at Manatee and a product manager at Takeoff Technologies.

For most of his career, Matthew has been a software engineer in early-stage startups, helping take products from zero to one. Never one to sit still, he's worked across diverse industries, from social media apps and B2B SaaS to a robotic grocery store.

With a passion for building and a keen eye for what makes customers tick, Matthew deeply understands how to create products that are functional, scalable, and genuinely delightful.

Chris Murdock

Co-Founder & CTO

Full stack engineer with over 15 years of experience working across programming languages, frameworks, paradigms and industries. As Co-Founder and CTO of FlipThrough, Chris architects and develops the secure infrastructure and proprietary algorithms that enable FlipThrough’s autonomous agents to analyze contracts, streamline vendor negotiations, and optimize procurement workflows. His work ensures the platform operates with high scalability, reliability, and intelligence, allowing organizations to automate complex decision-making in procurement.

Chris is a Principal Engineer and Technical Lead at GoDaddy and Co-Founder at Ragnarok Labs, a blockchain software development firm. Previously, Chris was Co-Founder and CTO of Cognate, a blockchain Trademark protection platform which was acquired by GoDaddy in 2018.
